I miss Europe. Christmas was great. I have a newfound appreciation for Mariah Carey's "Baby All I Want for Christmas is You." Ugh, I am so pathetic. David and I have to find a way to move in with my parents. He is officially the favorite in the family...my dad gave up a plate of food for him. Trust me, that's a big deal.

I ventured over to my local YMCA last week to workout. I have been a proud member for over a year now. Never in the past year and a half has it ever been so busy, all but one treadmill was occupied. I give them three weeks.

I am hooked on the Bachelor again. I promised myself that I would never watch that show again! It's all Andy's fault. He swore there was a girl on there that looked like me. I was curious to see this so called Mulana and just got sucked into the show. That is just embarrassing.

Oklahoma is a charming metropolis but I am excited to head out to Managua, Nicaragua in a couple of weeks. That is if I don't pick up another funky skin fungus due to the highly contaminated air...that wasn't fun.

It's been about a month since my first and only entry...I guess it is time for a new one. I hate writing new blog entries. I end up editing, deleting and re-reading everything I write. It is too much pressure!!!!
All that to say, I am going to write this entry and submit it. Here goes nothing.
A recap on the past month;
1. Saw a woman that had a haircut that resembled the likes of George Washington.
2. Got a $160 speeding ticket on 235 N. Words to the wise, don't speed there and don't even bother waiting for them to start chasing you. I pulled over immediatly after the gun was pointed at my car. Because of that he was generous enough to say that I was going ten over instead of twenty. Haven't sped since.
3. I shopped alone. Horrible idea. Reiner, I needed you for moral support. I wasted 45 minutes in the Gap dressing room trying to decide on a pair of pants...that I ended up returning. Due to #2 on the list and the fact that they looked gross.
4. Stayed up til 4:30 a.m. debating with Rachael and Mike about women in the pastoral office. I am right you are both wrong. If Jase would have been there, I know he would have been on my side. Needless to say, I am still trying to catch up on sleep. Gosh, I sound so old.
5. Reminisced the last 10 months...some of the best thus far.

This next month entails trips to Gulfport, Mississippi and Guayaquil, Ecuador...just another day at the office.

I can't believe I am doing this. I said that I would never, ever, ever have my own xanga site. Due to peer pressure and a bit of envy, I decided to join the xanga world. This explains my site name, "isaidnever." There are a lot of things that I said I would never do. This being one of them along with working at a church (I am still kicking myself for not applying for the Prichard Scholarship at OBU), living in Oklahoma (I found this place to be quite charming), and fell for someone (not a pair of shoes from Nine West). I vow to not be cheesy or too explicit. Here goes nothing, thank you Mr. Latshaw for inspiring me. Please leave comments...this is my first entry I don't want to feel like a total loser.
